Nicholas Larsen

Nicholas Larsen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biophysics, structural biology, and drug discovery. Nicholas is currently the Senior Director of Biophysics and Structural Biology at Kestrel Therapeutics. Before that, they held the position of Senior Director of High Throughput Screening at Foghorn Therapeutics Inc. In 2012, they joined H3 Biomedicine as Director and later became Senior Director of Lead Discovery. During their time at H3 Biomedicine, Nicholas led a team of scientists and made significant contributions to multiple drug discovery programs. Nicholas also worked at AstraZeneca as a Senior Scientist, leading the protein sciences platform in the oncology therapeutic area. Additionally, they have extensive postdoctoral research experience at Harvard Medical School, where they focused on proteins in the mitotic spindle checkpoint. Nicholas Larsen earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chemistry and Physics from Carleton College from 1994 to 1998. Nicholas then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Structural Biology from Scripps Research from 1998 to 2003.
