Liza Leijenhorst

Liza Leijenhorst is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Strategisch communicatieadviseur at Ketenbureau i-Sociaal Domein since November 2023, Liza has also worked as a zelfstandig communication advisor for Prescripts since 2005. As Head of Communication for both XIS Keurmerk and Stichting LEGIO, Liza focuses on enhancing trustworthy ICT within primary healthcare, and ensuring accessibility for patients. Previous roles include Senior Communication Advisor for OPENEerstelijn, editorial leadership at De Jonge Specialist magazine, and various positions in healthcare communications, translating guidelines into patient-friendly information. Liza holds a background in education from Hanze and Utrecht University, complemented by studies at R.S.G. Lingecollege.
