Ganesh Hegde

Ganesh Hegde has extensive work experience in the field of data science and research. Ganesh is currently working as the Head of Data Science at KETOS since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Samsung Semiconductor Inc as a Staff Research Scientist from March 2018 to March 2020, where their role involved creating and applying data-driven techniques to predict material properties and leading research collaborations. Before that, they worked at the Advanced Logic Lab, Samsung Semiconductor Inc as a Senior Research Scientist from December 2013 to February 2018. Ganesh also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Network for Computational Nanotechnology (NCN) from August 2007 to August 2013, and as a Research Intern at Intel Corporation from June 2011 to November 2011. Their earlier experience includes working as a Member of Technical Staff at AirTight Networks from September 2005 to May 2007.

Ganesh Hegde's education history begins with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is unclear when this degree was completed. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University from 2007 to 2010. Ganesh then continued their education at Purdue University and received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical Engineering from 2010 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Ganesh Hegde has also earned several certifications. In 2019, they obtained a Data Science Nanodegree from Udacity. In 2018, they completed the Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera. Furthermore, they have obtained two Coursera Course Certificates - one in Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis (with Honors) in 2017 and another in Inferential Statistics, also in 2017.
