Eric Gimon is an experienced independent consultant specializing in climate mitigation strategies and renewable electricity integration since January 2013. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at Energy Innovation, Eric develops innovative policies for the electricity sector and advises policymakers on achieving a clean, affordable, and reliable grid. As Vice-President at Camelotta Advisors, Eric assists clients in divesting from fossil fuels while maintaining diverse investment portfolios. Eric also holds board membership positions at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the Pacific Institute, and has previously contributed as an advisor for the Clean Coalition and as a technical consultant for the Vote Solar Initiative. Eric’s background includes a fellowship at the U.S. Department of Energy, where a strategy white paper for grid investments was authored. With a Ph.D. in Physics from UC Santa Barbara and co-terminal degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Stanford University, Eric brings a rich academic foundation to expertise in sustainable energy solutions.
