Mark Bazata

District Administrator at Kewaskum School

Mark Bazata has a solid career in the education sector spanning over several years. Mark began their career as an English Teacher in the Colby School District in 1997. Mark then moved to the Oshkosh Area School District in 1998, where they served as an English Teacher until 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an Instructional Support Teacher in the same district. In 2014, Mark joined the Kewaskum School District as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Mark held this position until 2021 when they transitioned to become the District Administrator.

Mark Bazata has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Mark then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 2001 to 2004. Finally, they completed a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership from Marian University of Fond du Lac between 2012 and 2018.
