Stephen Harrington

Stephen Harrington has a diverse work experience in the field of forensic science and operations management. Stephen started their career as a Research Scientist at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where they focused on rare and extinct plants. Stephen then worked as a Research Scientist at Zeneca Agrochemicals before joining the Forensic Science Service as a Senior Forensic Scientist. In this role, they received the Chief Constable's Commendation and specialized in training scientists in Low Copy Number DNA profiling. Harrington later joined Key Forensic Services Ltd, where they held several management positions, including Biology Team Leader, Head of Biology, Strategic Operational Lead (Biology & DNA), Associate Director of Operations, and Director of Operations. In these roles, they provided leadership, strategic guidance, and operational expertise to ensure excellence in departmental performance and customer satisfaction.

Stephen Harrington attended UWE, Bristol, for their BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Biological Sciences.
