Marcus Safar has a long and varied work experience. In 2009, they began working as an Electrical Engineer for the United States Department of Defense, where they provided problem solving strategies and Systems Engineering skills for new unmanned systems targets and helped to develop Unmanned Autonomous Systems Testing Roadmap Strategies for the U. S. Army. In 2012, they moved to Nuclear Waste Partnership - Waste Isolation Pilot Plant as an Electrical Engineer. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a SCADA Systems Engineer for EDF Renewable Energy and then as a SCADA Engineer for Automation Services. In 2016, they worked for Tesco Controls, Inc. as a SCADA Systems Integration Engineer and ICW Group as a Senior Data Scientist and Systems Engineer. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist for Zebit and then as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer for Geocent. Marcus currently holds the position of Senior DevOps Engineer at KeyMe Locksmiths.
Marcus Safar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from New Mexico State University between 2004 and 2009. In April 2020, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
