Valgeir Halldórsson

Valgeir Halldórsson has extensive work experience in software development and security, with roles ranging from Senior Software Engineer to Senior Content Developer and Application Security Specialist. Valgeir has worked for various companies including Keystrike, Next Generation Lotteries, Secure Code Warrior, Adversary, NOVOMATIC Lottery Solutions, and Betware. Valgeir has expertise in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, application security, and designing security awareness training material for developers. Valgeir has also worked as a Development Manager and encouraged good craftsmanship within development teams.

Valgeir Halldórsson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Reykjavik University between 2001 and 2005. Valgeir obtained a certification in eJPT from eLearnSecurity in September 2015.
