Dominga Leone

Dominga Leone has extensive experience in the field of privacy and data protection. Dominga is currently serving as the Global Head of Privacy at Keywords Studios. Prior to this, they worked as a Director and Consultant at Article 5.

In their previous roles, Dominga held leadership positions in various organizations such as wejo, INSHUR, and Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe. At wejo, they started as the Data Protection Officer and was later promoted to Head of Privacy. Dominga oversaw all privacy and data protection matters, including the development of the Global Privacy Program and the implementation of data protection practices across the organization.

As the Group Data Protection Officer at INSHUR, Dominga built a privacy program from scratch to align with US and EU laws, managing data protection delivery and IT security matters globally.

At Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe, Dominga served as the Interim Data Protection Officer, providing expertise in data protection across several telematics insurance brands. Dominga also worked as the Data Privacy Manager at Lloyd's, where they provided data protection advice and oversight.

Dominga's experience also includes roles at viaduct group, where they served as the Programme Lead Data Protection, and QBE Insurance, where they worked as the Lead Business Analyst for GDPR compliance.

Dominga started their career at the Pension Protection Fund as a Senior Business Analyst. Throughout their career, Dominga has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to managing privacy and data protection programs.

Dominga Leone has obtained a degree in "Elements of AI" with a focus on the basics of Artificial Intelligence from the University of Helsinki. In addition to their degree, they have earned several certifications including the "Fellow of Information Privacy" from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, the "Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM)" and "Certified Information Privacy Professional/E" also from the IAPP, and multiple privacy-related certifications from LinkedIn. Dominga has also completed courses in "Business Analysis Practice" and "Requirements Engineering" from the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
