Josh Ong, AIA, NOMA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Josh started their career as a Park Surveyor at the Chicago Park District in 2010 and worked in various roles till 2011. In the same year, they also worked as a Model Maker at Searl Lamaster Howe and a Freelance Brand Ambassador as an Independent Contractor.

From 2011 to 2013, Josh worked as a Project Associate and CAD Technician at Advanced Technologies Group, Inc., where they conducted inspections and surveys on healthcare campuses. During this time, they also gained experience in Life Safety systems.

In 2013, Josh became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where they taught architectural history and helped students improve their writing and test-taking skills.

In 2014, Josh worked as an Architectural Intern at Studio Five Architects, where they worked on projects such as the Minnesota Vikings stadium and the University of Minnesota's ambulatory care center.

From 2015 to 2016, Josh worked as a Designer at Cermak Rhoades Architects Inc, where they focused on multi-family housing projects, including renovation and new construction. Josh also prepared schematic plans, 3D models, and presentation boards for funding applications and meetings.

In 2016, Josh joined U+B Architecture and Design as an Architectural Designer and continued to develop their skills in design and project management till 2017.

Since 2017, Josh has been working as a Project Director and Project Architect at KFA Architecture, where they oversee projects and ensures their successful completion.
