Bram Sable-Smith

Bram Sable-Smith is a Midwest Correspondent for KFF Health News since September 2021, with extensive experience in journalism and multimedia production. Prior roles include serving as a writer and radio producer in a freelance capacity since May 2014, an investigative reporting fellow at the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, and lead reporter for the Health & Wealth Desk at KBIA 91.3 FM. Sable-Smith has reported on various health-related issues, highlighting health and wealth connections in Missouri, and has also held positions at Newsy, KDHX Community Media, and the St. Louis Beacon. Sable-Smith earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a BA in International and Area Studies, Anthropology, and Writing, magna cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis. Additional international education includes studies in Ecuador and South Africa, complemented by a background in multimedia technologies.
