Dr. Oliver Petras

Dr. Oliver Petras is a Senior Risk Controller at KfW since July 2018, bringing extensive financial service experience from prior roles as a Senior Consultant at d-fine GmbH, where consulting focused on process design and implementation in various banking departments. Dr. Petras has also served as a scientific researcher at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics and the University of Mainz, specializing in algebraic geometry and algebraic number theory. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Management/Corporate Finance from HEC Lausanne and a Doctorate in Mathematics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, complemented by a Diploma in Mathematics from Goethe University Frankfurt.
