Ingrid Hengster

Ingrid Hengster is the current Director at KfW. Ingrid has held this position since April 2014. Prior to this, they were a member of the board at KfW from December 2021 until December 2013. From January 2008 to December 2013, Ingrid was the CEO Country Executive Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz for the Royal Bank of Scotland Business. From January 2005 to December 2008, they were the CEO & Managing Director Deutschland & Österreich for ABN Amro Bank. From January 1998 to December 2005, Ingrid worked as a Managing Director for Credit Suisse First Boston. And from January 1995 to December 1998, they were the Leiterin Akquisitionsfinanzierung und strukturierte Finanzierung for UBS. Ingrid started their career in 1984 as a Projektmanagerin for Österreichische Kontrollbank AG (OeKB). Ingrid held this position until 1986 when they became Vice President Privatisation and Project Finance Group for Commerzbank AG.

Ingrid Hengster has a Doctor of Laws from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.
