Martina Stamm has extensive experience in the field of sustainable energy and climate finance. Martina began their career as a Trade Finance Analyst at the Inter-American Development Bank in 2006, and later held roles such as Investment Analyst and Climate Change Finance Expert. In 2011, they joined KfW as a Senior Project Manager in the Energy and Financial Sector Unit for Latin America and the Caribbean. Martina subsequently held the role of Senior Sector Economist and later became the Head of Division in the Strategy Department, focusing on innovative finance instruments and sustainable energy projects. During their career, Martina has demonstrated expertise in project management, climate policy dialogues, and mobilizing private sector investments in renewable energy.
Martina Stamm completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from the Universität Erfurt in 2000-2003. Martina then pursued a BA in Transition Studies from the University of Tartu in 2002-2003. Finally, they obtained a Master's degree in European Political Economy: Transition and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2004-2005.
