Stefan Lindemann is an experienced professional with a robust background in governance, peace, and security, particularly in West Africa, currently serving as the Head of Division at KfW since November 2012. Throughout tenure at KfW Development Bank, roles have included Senior Portfolio Manager for Energy in South Asia, Project Manager for Governance in West Africa, and Sector Economist in the Competence Center for Governance, Peace, and Development. Prior to KfW, Stefan held a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity and worked as a Research Associate at the Crisis States Research Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Stefan Lindemann has also contributed as a Research Fellow at the German Advisory Council on the Environment. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Development Studies and two Master's degrees in Political Science from the London School of Economics and Freie Universität Berlin, and Sciences Po.
