Thomas G. Engelmann

Thomas G. Engelmann, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as the CEO of Power-To-X D&G GmbH, overseeing the PtX-Development Fund for the German KfW Development Bank since August 2023. In addition, Thomas holds the position of Head of Energy Transition at KGAL GmbH & Co. KG, focusing on sustainable and profitable investments in energy-related projects. Thomas is also a member of the Advisory Board for the European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center at EIT InnoEnergy. Previous experience includes leadership roles in investment and transaction management at Allianz Global Investors and the establishment of the Infrastructure Equity business at KGAL. Thomas's extensive background spans over two decades in investment management and commercial leadership across various sectors, including renewable energy and infrastructure, primarily during tenure at Siemens. Educational qualifications include Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations, along with a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
