David Brandvold

Vice President - At&t Customer Unit at KGPCo

David Brandvold has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the telecommunications industry. David is currently serving as the Vice President of the AT&T Customer Unit at KGPCo since March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Board Member on the Electrical & Computer Engineering Inter-Industry Advisory Board at Marquette University starting from March 2019.

Their previous roles at AT&T include Vice President of Global Service & Technology Operations where they led teams responsible for emerging services, network virtualization, mobility core, VoIP, advanced services operations, incident management, risk management, change management, and disaster recovery of AT&T's technology elements. David also served as the Vice President of Technology Planning & Engineering and managed a large organization responsible for Ethernet, IP, and Mobility Transport, AT&T IP Core Backbone Network, and other high bandwidth services. David played a key role in AT&T's network virtualization/cloud operating model and development strategy.

Before their time in technology planning and engineering, David served as the Vice President of Global Engineering Support, where they provided process and tool support for the Network Planning & Engineering organization. David was also the Assistant Vice President of Program Management, overseeing the consolidation and management of Network Planning & Engineering capital management teams.

David has extensive experience in wholesale operations, marketing, special services, and outside plant construction & engineering.

David Brandvold completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1983 to 1988. David later pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management at the same university from 1992 to 1994.
