Data Operations Analyst at Kharon

Therese Scocco has a diverse range of work experience. Therese started their professional career in 2013 as a Barista at Restaurang Cassi, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they also volunteered at Solidarity Network with Migrants Japan. Therese then briefly worked as a Letter Carrier at PostNord Sverige before moving on to intern at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York in 2019, where they focused on Humanitarian Affairs. From 2020 to 2021, they worked at FBA (Folke Bernadotteakademin) as a Program Assistant in the Department for Governance and later in the Department for Missions, Elections, and Deployment. In 2022, they interned at the United Nations in the role of a Political Affairs Intern. In 2023, they joined the U.S. Department of State as a Graduate Consultant, where they collaborated on a report for the Office of Sanctions Coordination. Currently, they are employed as a Data Operations Analyst at Kharon since June 2023. Therese Scocco has demonstrated their flexibility and expertise in various fields, including international relations, humanitarian affairs, and data analysis.

Therese Scocco's education history is as follows:

From 2011 to 2014, they attended Globala Gymnasiet where they pursued a Social Science Programme with a Global Profile.

In 2014, they spent three months at Università per Stranieri di Perugia, studying Italian Language and Literature at an intermediate level.

Starting from 2015, Scocco studied Historiy I and II at Stockholm University for a year.

Therese then enrolled in Uppsala University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. During their time at Uppsala, Scocco also studied Economic History and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in that field.

Additionally, they participated in an exchange program at The University of Tokyo in 2018 and 2019, focusing on Liberal Arts with a specialization in Political Science and Japanese.

Most recently, Scocco attended Columbia University from 2021 to 2023, earning a Master of International Affairs degree with a specialization in International Security Policy and Conflict Resolution.

As for certifications, they received the Fulbright Scholar award from Fulbright Commission Sweden in July 2021. Therese also holds additional certifications as an American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellow and a Sweden-America Foundation Fellow, although specific details regarding the month and year of obtaining these certifications are unavailable.
