Abdelrahman A.

Abdelrahman A. has over 28 years of work experience in various roles and companies within the construction and project management field. Abdelrahman started their career at TIBAH Consultants as a Project Engineer from 1992 to 1994. Abdelrahman then worked at Altaba'a Contracting Co. as a Project Manager for one year before joining Habash Deir Contracting Company as a Project Manager/Planner from 1995 to 1998. Abdelrahman then served as a Sr. Planning Engineer at Arab Technical Construction Co. (Arabtec) from 1998 to 2000, followed by a role as a Project Manager at Depa Interiors from 2001 to 2001. Abdelrahman also worked as a Project Management Specialist at Campus Development Department, UAE University from 2001 to 2002. Abdelrahman joined Turner Construction International as a Project Management Controls System Manager from 2003 to 2007. Abdelrahman then served as the Head of Planning and Controls Section at The Engineer's Office - Projects Department from March 2007 to November 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Abdelrahman worked as the Divisional Controls Manager at Habtoor Leighton Group. Since 2012, they have been associated with Khatib & Alami, initially as a Controls Manager - Gulf and currently as a Principal - Contracts.

Abdelrahman A. completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Yarmouk University between 1982 and 1987. Abdelrahman then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering with a Management Specialization from the University of Jordan from 1991 to 1993. Recently, from 2017 to 2021, they attended Robert Gordon University and obtained their LLM/MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration. Furthermore, Abdelrahman A. has received additional certifications including FCIArb from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, PMP from the Project Management Institute, and RMP also from the Project Management Institute, all obtained in 2018.
