Omar Sherif

Omar Sherif is the current head of logistics at Khazna and was previously the Chief Technology Officer at Nexta. Omar has been in the technology industry for over 10 years and has experience in leading and mentoring team members, monitoring web analytics, and staying current with new industry trends and technologies.

Omar has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Jordan. Omar began their career as a software engineer at UBS AG in Zurich, Switzerland before moving to Dubai to join the team at Nexta as their Chief Technology Officer.

At Nexta, Omar was responsible for creating the product from use-cases and backlogs, through UI/UX by owning the team of product design, till implementation through their technology team. Omar also advised on best practices pertaining to architecture solutions across design and implementation. Omar supported partner relationships to support sales and delivery cycles and represented Nexta at conferences and networking events.

In their current role at Khazna, Omar is responsible for leading the logistics team and ensuring that all operations are running smoothly. Omar is also responsible for developing strategic plans and timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services.

Omar Sherif has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Information Technology from The German University in Cairo. Omar also has a High School diploma in Mathematics from Al-farouk school.

Omar Sherif reports to Omar Saleh, Co-Founder & CEO. Omar Sherif works with Ahmed Mohsen Hassaan - Chief Commercial Officer, Abdallah Ayman - Head Of Finance, and Karim Refaat - Head of Credit Risk.
