Alvaro Millalen

Alvaro Millalen has been working in the software engineering field since 1998. Alvaro began their career as a Software Engineer at Universidad Católica de Chile in 1998. In 2000, they moved to Acepta.com, where they held various roles including Project Team Lead, Chief Maintenance Officer, Software Engineer, Quality Manager, and Software Development Team Manager. In 2013, they joined Khipu as a Software Engineer.

Alvaro Millalen is currently enrolled in a Diplomado Arquitecto Cloud program at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to this, they completed a Master in Technology at the Universidad de Chile in 2011, a Postítulo in Ingeniería y Calidad de Software at the same university in 2010, and a Project Management course in 2003. Alvaro also attended the Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Alvaro Millalen has obtained several certifications, including a Diplomado en Arquitectura Cloud from Capacitación Usach in June 2022, an Estudiante Destacado - Arquitectura Cloud - PFC CORFO 2021/2022 from Capacitación Usach in June 2022, and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023.
