Kristy Tamashiro is a seasoned media professional with a diverse background in journalism and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Television News Reporter, Digital Multimedia Journalist, and News Producer at KHON-TV since July 2017, Kristy has developed a strong presence in the news industry. Additionally, Kristy has been an On Air Personality at iHeartMedia since July 2014. Educationally, Kristy holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, alongside a High School Diploma from Moanalua High School.
