Ayanda Mbonani-Vana

Ayanda Mbonani-Vana has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2014 when they were a Vacation Student at the National Prosecuting Authority. In 2015, they were a Vacation Student at Adams & Adams, a leading African law firm, and also worked as an Academic Tutor at Rhodes University and a Student Assistant and Private Tutor at Kingswood College. In 2018, they were a Candidate Attorney at Adams & Adams, where they gained experience in administrative and constitutional law. In 2020, they became the Chief Operating Officer at KHULA!, where they provided legal advice, maintained privacy frameworks and drafted terms and conditions for various platforms. Most recently, in 2021, Ayanda Mbonani-Vana began working as a Podcaster for Equip and Elevate, a business and career podcast for women.

Ayanda Mbonani-Vana has a comprehensive educational background. Ayanda attended Pretoria High School for Girls from 2008 to 2012, where they studied Life Science, Ayanda'story, and French. Ayanda then went on to Rhodes University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Social Science with majors in Political and International Studies and Legal Studies from 2013 to 2015. Ayanda completed their Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree at Rhodes University in 2016 and 2017. In 2020, they enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand, where they obtained a Master of Laws - LLM as well as Certificates in Operations Management and Managing Labour Relations.
