Leroy Dunn

Leroy Dunn has over three years of work experience in the technology industry. Leroy currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at KHULA!, a role they have held since September 2020. Prior to this, Leroy co-founded iMpilo.Africa in April 2019 and served as the Chief Technology Officer until September 2020. From February 2018 to September 2020, Leroy worked as a Software Engineer at Associated Computer Solutions (ACS-Embrace). Leroy began their career at Investec as a Software Developer from January 2017 to February 2018.

Leroy Dunn's education history begins with their matriculation from St. Peter's College in 2013. Leroy then attended the University of the Witwatersrand from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Following that, Leroy pursued further studies at the same university from 2016 to 2017 and earned a Bachelor of Science Honours (BscHons) degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Finally, Leroy completed their formal education at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2018 to 2021, obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Leroy has also acquired several certifications. In November 2019, they obtained their AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Leroy's other certifications include "IT Management for CIO Teams" from the University of the Witwatersrand, Faculty of Commerce Law and Management, which they obtained in July 2021, and "Principles of Business Management" from the same institution, earned in January 2021.
