Safiq Uzzaman

Safiq Uzzaman began their work experience in 2004 as an Assistant Engineer at Khans Authentical HVAC Systems, where they were involved in sales and service. Safiq then worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Appollo Ispat Complex Ltd. from 2005 to 2006, troubleshooting machinery issues and coordinating maintenance work. Safiq then joined Khulna Shipyard Limited in 2006 as an Executive Engineer and officer in charge of the mechanical outfitting shop. In their role, they were responsible for material planning, manpower planning, production monitoring and control, and preparation of work schedules. Safiq also estimated material and labor hours for price fixation and prepared technical specifications for procurement. Safiq currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Engineer at Khulna Shipyard Limited, starting in July 2018.

Safiq Uzzaman has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology. Safiq completed this degree in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical-99 from the Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, which they completed between the years 1999 and 2004.
