Robert Kilian

Robert Kilian serves as the CEO of CertifAI, leading a joint venture with PwC and DEKRA focused on the testing and certification of AI systems. In addition, Robert is a board member of the KI Bundesverband, representing over 500 companies in the German AI sector. As a lecturer at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Robert teaches on regulatory topics and entrepreneurship, with an upcoming focus on AI regulation. Robert is also the founder of Beams, a data analytics software company for regulated industries, and has held positions such as member of the supervisory board at N26 Group and member of the FinTech Council for the German federal government. Prior experience includes serving as chief representative and general counsel at N26, as well as a senior associate at Hengeler Mueller. Robert's educational background includes an Executive Diploma in Management from the University of St.Gallen and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Cologne.
