Dr Joel Morley

Dr. Joel Morley is an Associate Data Scientist at Ki since May 2023, where responsibilities include developing new models through extensive exploratory data analysis and aiding in the production of machine learning models. Prior experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University involved building and coding a CO2 laser ablation system for quantum computing hardware development. Previous roles include Technical Consultant at Outsmart Insight, focusing on emerging technologies, Test and Installation Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, optimizing XPS instruments, and Teacher at Wall Street Institute, developing communication skills with non-native English speakers. Dr. Morley earned a PhD in Experimental Quantum Physics from UCL, a Bootcamp in Computer Software Engineering from Digital Futures, and an MPhys in Physics from the University of Leeds.
