Satinder Sohel

Satinder Sohel is an experienced actuary currently serving as the Head of Reserving at Ki Insurance since October 2024. Prior to this role, Satinder held multiple positions at Canopius Group from August 2012 to October 2024, including Group Reserving Lead, Head of Global Property Reserving, and Actuary. Previously, Satinder worked as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Omega Underwriting Agents Limited from June 2011 to August 2012, following its acquisition by Canopius Group. Early career experience includes roles as an Actuarial Analyst at QBE European Operations and Chaucer Syndicates Ltd from November 2009 to 2009, alongside actuarial education culminating in achieving the Fellowship of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) between 2006 and 2013. Satinder holds an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London, earned in 2006.
