Robb Cobb

Head of Curriculum at Kibo School

Robb Cobb has a long history of working in the technology and education sectors. Robb began their career in 2011 as Technology Director for TIC Summer Camp. Robb then went on to work as a Software Engineer for The Fin Exploration Company from 2015-2018. During this time, they also worked as an Instructor for the Google Computer Science Summer Institute at The Flatiron School. In 2018, they joined Flatiron School as a Learning Experience Designer, Teacher Trainer, and Lead Instructor for Software Engineering. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer for SchoolHouse and as an Instructional Design Consultant for Self Employed. In 2021, they joined MakeSchool.org as a Software Engineer and Make School as a Curriculum Engineer. Robb currently works as Head of Curriculum for Kibo School, a new program aiming to help millions of young people on the African continent have access to higher education credentials.

Robb Cobb attended the University of Michigan from 2006-2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Robb then attended the University of Chicago from 2011-2013 and earned a Master of Science in Social Work.
