Aquilino Peña

Aquilino Peña has been working in the tech industry since 1994 when they began as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. In 1999, they founded and became CEO of Submarino.com Spain, a pure player in online commerce, staying as a shareholder until 2005. In 2001, they became Managing Director Portal Business at Orange Spain, and in 2003 they were Chairman and Board Member of IAB Spain. In 2008, they were appointed CEO Iberia at Mediaedge:cia. In 2010, they became Managing Director/Owner at Mutatis Mutandi Investments, and in 2011 they became Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Kibo Ventures. In 2014, they joined Adigital as an Executive Board Member and Board Member. In 2017, they were appointed Chairman of ASCRI, Asociación Española de Capital, Crecimiento e Inversión, and Vice Chairman and Chair of the Venture Capital Committee. In 2021, they became a Spain Committee Member at Level 20.

Aquilino Peña attended Harvard Business School from 1996 to 1998, where they earned a Master in Business Administration. Aquilino also attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 1988 to 1994, where they earned an ICADE E-3 in Law and Business Administration.
