Brian Schafer

Brian Schafer is an experienced manufacturing engineering professional with a background in various engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Manufacturing Engineering Manager at KMC since August 2013, Brian has implemented lean principles to enhance processes and developed manufacturing strategies for new products, contributing to improved product quality and customer satisfaction. Previously, at Maysteel LLC, responsibilities included creating software for quality checks, optimizing paint line capacity, and leading process improvements through Kaizen events. Prior experience includes engineering positions at Tramont Corporation and Viasystems, where management and direct engineering support for key customers were pivotal. Brian holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
