Christian Cota

Christian Cota's work experience includes various roles in instructional design, coaching, teaching, tutoring, and outdoor education.

In 2023, they worked as an Instructional Designer at Kiddom. Prior to that, in 2022, they were a Content Coach at Acceleration Academy. From 2020, they worked as a Multimedia Specialist & Instructional Designer, and before that, from 2019 to 2021, they were a STEM Tutor.

In 2021, Christian served as a High School Chemistry Teacher at Explore Knowledge Academy, and in 2018, they worked as an OHV Specialist at the U.S. Forest Service. From 2017 to 2018, they were an Elementary Math Teacher (Long Term Substitute) at Explore Knowledge Academy.

Christian's work experience also includes positions in outdoor education. Christian worked as a Climbing Instructor and Route Setter at Vertical Hold Sport Climbing from 2012 to 2017, where they facilitated rock climbing courses and ensured safety and adherence to procedures. Additionally, in 2014, they were a Nature Camp Co-Director at the City of Arcata Parks & Recreation.

Christian Cota holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Science Education from Western Governors University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Organizational Leadership from Humboldt State University. Additionally, they completed the Front End Engineer Pathway program in Computer Software Engineering at CodeAcademy. Moreover, Christian acquired an ARL Licensure in Secondary Science Education from iteachNEVADA.
