Julia Hubbard

Julia Hubbard currently serves as the Executive Lead for Translation, Innovation and Enterprise and as an Innovation and Development Scientific Advisor at Kidney Research UK since August 2024. Julia has been a Program Leader in Infection Drug Discovery at Newcastle University since January 2019 and a Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since May 2015. Julia's career at GSK spanned from September 1991 to May 2025 as a Scientist. Prior experience includes the roles of Head of Research at Antibiotic Research UK from July 2024 to October 2024 and Head of Research Partnerships at JDRF UK from January 2024 to July 2024. Julia holds an educational background from the University of London.
