Maggie Burns has extensive experience in management and advocacy, currently serving as a KidneyCAN Advocate since April 2020. Prior to this role, Maggie held various managerial positions at Verizon from December 2006 to December 2015 and EDS from 2001 to 2006, overseeing systems administration with expertise in Unix, AIX, and Linux. Additionally, Maggie worked at Sabre Holdings from 1997 to 2001, managing MRDB technologies including Oracle and Sybase. Maggie's career began at American Airlines, where from November 1981 to July 1997, significant leadership was provided in global crisis management, along with roles in network engineering and operations. Maggie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Gregory's University and has academic credentials from OSU.
