Daniel Riddell has a long and varied career in the media industry. Daniel began their career in 1998 as a Video Editor at Homestead Recorders, a premiere Edmonton music recording facility. In 1999, they became the Owner/Operator of DR Creative, a company specializing in event video production and marketing. In 2006, they became the Vice President Broadcasting Operations and Director of Programming at Wild TV inc., an international Hunting and Fishing television network. In 2011, they were the Director of Technology at Gigecast inc. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Co-Founder and Vice President of SmartOTT, a content management and monetization company. From 2015 to 2018, they were the President of ReacDev Studios inc., an end-to-end development firm specializing in mission critical cloud based media workflows. In 2018, they became an Advisor at Boxbit.io and an Advisor - DECENT Foundation at #DECENT. Lastly, they are currently the Chief Technology Officer at Kidoodle.TV ® - Owned by A Parent Media Co. Inc.

Daniel Riddell's education history includes completing a BSc. at the University of Alberta in 1996-1997, a Project Management course at the MacEwan School of Business in 2008, and a New Media Technologies course at MacEwan University in 2000-2001. Daniel also attended St. Thomas, though no further information is provided.
