Douglas Cook

Douglas Cook has a long history of work experience in the fields of videography and cinematography. Douglas began their career in 1998, working as a Videographer/Editor for Inlets. Douglas then moved to MindFuel Creations in 2000, still in the same role. In 2008, they became a Design Center Manager for Ethan Allen Global, Inc., where they managed up to 25 employees and three different locations. In 2017, they took on a Video Producer role at Franworks Group of Companies, creating videos for marketing campaigns, optimized for social and mobile platforms. In 2019, they returned to Kidoodle.TV\u00ae as a Director and Cinematographer, and they currently hold the same role at Glean Productions Inc.

Douglas Cook obtained a Technical Certificate, Foundation Film from Vancouver Film School between 1995 and 1997. Douglas then completed a course in Drawing I at Alberta University of the Arts in 2016. In 2005, they studied Web Design at Alberta University of the Arts. In 2006, they took a course in Marketing Essentials at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Douglas also studied Graphic Design at Vancouver Community College (VCC) in 2001 and Business Development at the Self Employment & Entrepreneur Development Society from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they obtained their High School Certificate from Calgary Academy prior to 1995.
