Rachael Ross, PhD, is a prominent figure in early childhood education with extensive experience in various roles including Head Coach and Grant Writer at Kids 1st Education, and Consultant and Mentor Teacher for The National Summer School Initiative. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Rachael teaches courses in literacy assessment and coaching. Previous leadership positions include Lead for Pre-K and Managing Director of Research and Learning at EdReports, where Rachael oversaw curriculum alignment and research efforts, and Senior Director of Early Literacy Strategy for the Tennessee Department of Education, managing significant budgets and initiatives. Rachael holds a PhD in Literacy, Language, & Culture from Clemson University, a Master of Education from Louisiana State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Lee University.
