James Maclean-Horton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James began their career as a Sales Consultant at Fone Zone from 2000 to 2005. James then worked as a Sales and Marketing Consultant at Clickpress Group, where they implemented GTM strategies and managed client accounts.

In 2007, James joined The White Agency as a Digital Media Campaign & Design Assistant. In this role, they created and monitored eDM and SEO/SEM campaigns, provided insights for online advertising strategies, and assisted in various design projects using Adobe CS.

James then moved to Fuji Xerox, where they held multiple roles. As a Marketing Services Associate from 2008 to 2011, they designed marketing communication materials, generated reports for internal decision-making, and assisted in developing commission incentives for the sales force. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Marketing Executive/Analyst, conducting research for strategic implementation and developing campaigns to expand market share.

Following their time at Fuji Xerox, James worked at Kaleidoskohp as a Marketing Manager. James played a key role in establishing a new concept food store called Youeni and later oversaw marketing for three stores. James also contributed to the development of Kaleidoskohp, a digital and video marketing agency.

In 2014, James joined Baseplan Software Pty Ltd as a Marketing Specialist (Manager) before moving to Ricoh Australia as a Demand Generation Marketing Manager in 2015. In this role, they drove lead generation and managed national marketing campaigns for the Government, Education, and Healthcare markets.

James then joined Turbosmart in 2017, where they initially served as a Marketing Manager and later became the Global Marketing Manager. James'sresponsibilities included developing and implementing global marketing strategies to drive public demand for the company's automotive performance products.

Currently, James works at Kids Club Early Childhood Learning Centres, where they have held various positions. James started as the Head of Marketing in 2019 and later became the Head of Sales and Marketing. Currently, they serve as the Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing marketing, sales, and customer service divisions. James has also project-managed the development of a custom sales, marketing, and customer service system using Salesforce.

Throughout their career, James has demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy development, campaign management, digital marketing, sales support, and team leadership.

James Maclean-Horton earned a Master's degree in Marketing from Monash University, which they attended from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and Design from Australian Catholic University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. James also achieved various additional certifications, including "Getting Started as a Project Manager" from LinkedIn, "Project Management Foundations: Scheduling" from the Project Management Institute, and "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google Digital Garage. Furthermore, they received certifications in business administration, project management, lead generation, and lean six sigma. James also obtained the Google Ads Search Certification from the Google Digital Academy in August 2022.
