Peter Baars

Peter Baars has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Peter is currently the CEO and Founder of KidsKonnect, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, Peter worked as the Commercial Director and Co-Founder of KidsKonnect from July 2019 to December 2021.

Before their involvement with KidsKonnect, Peter was the Owner and Founder of Konnect, a company specializing in communication solutions for childcare centers and out-of-school care. Peter held this position from July 2010 to July 2019.

Peter also co-founded Joorz IT Services in February 2010, where they focused on enterprise architecture, Java software development, and project management. Peter worked as a Senior Developer and Project Leader at Joorz until July 2019.

In 2009, Peter worked as an Architect and Java Team Leader at Dyzle, contributing to the development of new portals with Java technology. Peter used Model Driven Architecture and Domain Driven Design for this project.

Peter briefly served as a Project Manager at Gemeente Noordoostpolder in 2009, overseeing the implementation of a Mid Office.

Before these roles, Peter worked at companies like Capgemini and LogicaCMG in various capacities, including Senior Technical Consultant, Project Manager, Java Architect, and J2EE Specialist.

Peter Baars attended Windesheim from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Hogere Informatica. Peter did not complete a degree during this time.
