L Trae J. Miller III, ESQ, PE, P.Eng, PgMP, CSP, PMP holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) degree in Civil Law from Loyola University New Orleans, obtained in the years 2000-2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University from 1994-1997. In 1991-1992, they attended the United States Naval Academy, studying Electrical Engineering. L Trae also pursued professional development from Stanford University at the Stanford Center for Professional Development. In terms of additional certifications, in 2022, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from Engineers and Geoscientists BC. L Trae also holds the Registered Professional Engineer (PE) designation from various institutions, including the Nevada Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors, the Colorado Engineering & Surveying Board, the Iowa Professional Licensing Bureau, the Ohio Board of Licensing, and the Kentucky Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors. In 2016, they became an Attorney-at-Law in Texas, accredited by the Supreme Court of Texas, and in 2015, they became an Attorney-At-Law in Louisiana, recognized by the Louisiana Supreme Court. Additionally, they are certified as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP®) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Furthermore, they hold the professional certifications of Program Management Professional (PgMP®) and Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute.
