Christian Fischer

Christian Fischer has extensive work experience in the field of digital and information technology. Christian is currently the Chief Digital and Information Officer at Kiekert AG since March 2022. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board at Aveniq AG, a Swiss IT service provider, from January 2019 to the present. Christian also founded and served as the Managing Director of excITize from June 2018 onwards.

Before joining Aveniq and starting their own venture, Christian held various leadership positions. Christian worked at Oerlikon as the Group CIO and Managing Director of Oerlikon IT Solutions AG from January 2012 to May 2018. Christian was the Chief Information Officer at Webcor Group in 2011. From 2005 to 2010, Christian held the position of CIO and VP Asia Pacific in Hong Kong at Knorr-Bremse. Prior to that, they worked at Knorr-Bremse in Germany, where they held different roles such as Director of Business Intelligence, Manager of Controlling Systems, and Financial Analyst/MIS Analyst.

Christian'scareer started at Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group (BSH) as an Assistant Operations Manager.

Christian Fischer completed a Master's Degree in Management/Industrial Engineering ('Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur') from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences from 1995 to 1999. Christian also attended Saddleback College in 1995 for Desktop Publishing and Multimedia Design. Additionally, Christian has obtained various certifications, including ITIL V4, Innosuisse Business Growth Advanced Engineering, HERMES Advanced, Data Science R Basic, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, among others.
