Matthew Lester

Matthew Lester has extensive experience in senior financial and leadership roles across various prominent organizations. Currently, Matthew serves as a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Intermediate Capital Group since March 2021 and as Chair of Kier Group plc since January 2020. Previously, Matthew held Non Executive Director positions at Capita and Man Group, where responsibilities included chairing Audit and Risk Committees. Matthew's career includes significant roles such as Group CFO at Royal Mail and ICAP, and Group Finance Controller and Treasurer at Diageo. Matthew began his career in corporate finance at Kleinwort Benson and Dresdner Kleinwort. Matthew earned a BA Hons in Economics from Bangor University.
