Mishala Lewis

Mishala Lewis, MPA, currently serves as an Event Coordinator at Kiewit Luminarium and an Event Manager at Amplify Omaha since June 2024. In addition, Lewis holds the position of DEAI Manager within the Office of Diversity, Equity, Access and Inclusion at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where responsibilities include serving as a diversity liaison and assisting with event planning. Lewis is the founder of MECHEE Boutique, a company that promotes inclusive fashion by offering clothing and accessories in a wide range of sizes. Previous experience includes roles as Developmental Disabilities Service Coordinator and Social Service Worker Trainee at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, as well as serving as President and Founder of Resilient Women, an organization supporting marginalized women. Lewis earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
