Matt Abele

Matt Abele, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director for Kiewit, overseeing HR operations in the energy markets, including Power, Industrial, and Oil Gas & Chemical sectors since July 2019. Prior to this role, Matt held several key positions at Caddell Construction from November 2006 to July 2019, including Senior Human Resources Business Partner and Director of Human Resources, where responsibilities included implementing HR strategies across various states and countries. Earlier experience includes roles at BBVA Compass as Human Resources Manager and Corporate EEO Officer, and as Human Resources Generalist at Colonial Bank, where Matt supported HR functions for multiple regions. Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Auburn University at Montgomery.
