Matthew Bastian

Matthew Bastian, J.D., is currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at Kiewit, where they focus on legal matters related to various projects. Prior to this role, Matthew was Legal Counsel at Black & Veatch, where they reviewed and negotiated EPC agreements and subcontract terms. Their experience also includes positions as an Associate Attorney at Wallace Saunders and Legal Counsel at Wanzek Construction, Inc. Matthew externed for the Hon. Stephen Hill at the Kansas Court of Appeals and held roles in legal internships, complementing their educational background with a JD from Washburn University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Pittsburg State University.
