Mauricio Gonzalez

Mauricio Gonzalez, PE, CGC, currently serves as Vice President and Regional Design Build Manager at Kiewit since September 2023. Prior to this role, Mauricio co-founded and held the position of President & CEO at Lead Engineering Contractors, LLC from August 2016 to May 2023. Mauricio has extensive experience in the construction industry, having served as Director of Construction and Project Executive at Odebrecht from January 2012 to July 2016, and as Director of Civil Operations at MCM | Munilla Construction Management from October 2010 to December 2011. A long tenure at Kiewit Southern Corp. lasted from December 1992 to October 2010, where Mauricio held various leadership roles including South Florida Manager and Project Executive. Mauricio's education includes a BSCE in Civil Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, further executive education programs at MIT Sloan, Leadership Florida, and Kiewit Management School.
