Richard Burton

Richard Burton, E. JD, is a seasoned professional in safety management and legal consultation with extensive experience in the construction industry. Currently serving as Senior Safety Manager at Kiewit since March 2017, Richard previously held the position of President at R. A. Burton & Company, LLC, where expertise in construction alternative dispute consultation and mediation was applied. Prior to that role, Richard was the Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety at D.L. Withers Construction from August 2008 to April 2016, overseeing a significant reduction in force. Educational qualifications include an Executive Juris Doctor of Law from Purdue Global Law School, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University.
