Joel Niyobuhungiro

Joel NIYOBUHUNGIRO is an experienced legal educator and practitioner, currently serving as a Lecturer at the Institute of Legal Practice and Development since January 2023, and at Kigali Independent University (ULK) since January 2021, focusing on justice-oriented courses. Additionally, Joel NIYOBUHUNGIRO holds a position as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali since 2019. Previously, Joel NIYOBUHUNGIRO worked as a Legal Officer at Better Legal Services Law Firm Ltd from July 2015 to August 2017. Academic qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from Universitas Airlangga (2017-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Rwanda (2011-2015). Currently, Joel NIYOBUHUNGIRO is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law at the University of Debrecen from September 2023 to August 2027.
