Ville Vesterinen is an accomplished professional in the field of sports physiology, currently serving as the Chief Specialist at Huippu-urheilun instituutti KIHU - Finnish Institute of High Performance Sport KIHU since May 2007. Ville has advanced through various roles within the organization, starting as a Project Researcher and progressing to Specialist and then Chief Specialist. In addition to this role, Ville is the Acting Director at Nordic Health Academy Oy since May 2017. Prior to these positions, Ville gained experience as a Fitness Specialist at the Fitness Testing Laboratory in 2004-2006. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sport Coaching and Fitness Testing and a Master’s Degree from the University of Jyväskylä, complemented by a Matriculation Examination from Sotkamo Sport High School.
