Dr. Patrick Grabowski is an Assistant Professor in the Physical Therapy program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He graduated summa cum laude from Marquette University in 2004 with a Master of Physical Therapy degree, and in 2012 from the Kinesiology Department at UW-Madison with his PhD in neuromotor control.
Dr. Grabowski has practiced orthopedic and sports physical therapy in Vail, Colorado as well as Madison, WI. He has been a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2002, and was certified in orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2008. Dr. Grabowski teaches motor control and learning, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and multiple research courses in the Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum at UW-L.
Dr. Grabowski’s research interests center on the enhancement of clinical efficiency through application of innovative therapeutic approaches and emerging technologies. He has lectured, published and presented research nationally as well as internationally, and has contributed to multiple rehab technology development collaborations since 2003.
Recent honors include finalist standing in the Military Health System Research Symposium Young Investigator Competition (2015), and Best Paper, International Conference on Advances In Computer-Human Interactions (2013).
